Khaosan World Namba Hostel - Osaka

Great location, within walking distance of major attractions and public transport. Friendly and helpful staff who provided useful information for exploring the city. Enjoyed the New Year's Eve event organized by the hotel, which was a great way to meet fellow travelers and celebrate the occasion.

The cleanliness of the facilities was unsatisfactory. The bathrooms were not properly maintained, and there were sticky spots on the hallway carpet.

We had a great stay at a lovely hostel in a convenient location. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the hostel was near a subway station, making it easy to get around the city. There was also a supermarket nearby, which was convenient for picking up snacks and essentials. the rooms were comfortable and had curtains for privacy. the common areas were spacious and well-equipped, with a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of seating. it was a fantastic experience.

Some guests were noisy during the night, which disturbed our sleep occasionally.

Great Location: The hostel was conveniently located near a bus station where you can catch a direct bus to the airport. It was also just a short walk away from the heart of the city, making it easy to explore Osaka. Friendly and Helpful Staff: The staff at the hostel were extremely welcoming and accommodating. They went above and beyond to assist me, even helping me search for a lost wallet. Their genuine care for their guests was evident throughout my stay.Clean and Comfortable: The rooms were well-maintained and clean. I appreciated that there was a sink in the room, saving me the trouble of leaving the room to wash up. The hostel also had good shower facilities, and I never had to wait for a shower.

Difficult Bunk Beds: The bunk beds were a bit challenging to climb, especially for older people and children. It would be great if they could improve the accessibility of the beds to make it easier for everyone to use.

I recently stayed at Khaosan World Namba in Osaka for a week-long vacation with friends. The hostel exceeded my expectations in many ways. The privacy in the shared dormitory was superb, thanks to the cleverly designed beds with curtains. I also felt secure with the lockers and storage room provided for personal belongings. The location was ideal, with easy access to various attractions such as Namba Rail and Metro, Dotonbori, Kuromon Market, and Amemura. Additionally, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the hostel organized fun events like gyoza and takoyaki-making parties. Khaosan World Namba is a top-notch hostel that I highly recommend.

Great location, just a short walk from the train station and close to all the main attractions. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any questions or recommendations. The hostel had excellent facilities, with a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, making it easy to cook our own meals. We also loved the regular events organized by the hostel, like the gyoza-making night, where we got to meet other travelers and have a great time.

The inconvenience of the separate toilet for women, located on a different floor. It was a bit annoying, especially when you're tired and just want to quickly use the bathroom.

This hostel has a perfect location, just a short walk from JR Namba and Namba shopping street. It's also conveniently close to a 24-hour supermarket and the subway station. the rooms offer comfortable futons and clean bathrooms. the staff is friendly and accommodating. the common areas, like the bar and kitchen, are well-maintained and provide a great social atmosphere. Guests can enjoy events like Japan Calligraphy night and ladies nite. the facilities, including an elevator and free towel rental, add to the convenience of the stay.

Some guests mentioned that the walls are a bit thin, which may result in noise disturbances from neighboring rooms.

I recently stayed at a perfectly located hostel in Osaka for 2 nights. The staff were incredibly friendly and the common room was spacious. The kitchen and laundry facilities in the basement were very convenient. Despite being on the 6th floor, the clean shower and bathroom on either the 5th or 7th floor were easily accessible. The best part was definitely the comfortable bed and pillow. a great experience.
